Silicon Carbide Ceramic
Silicon carbide(SiC) ceramics possess ultra-high hardness (Mohs hardness 9.2-9.5), excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance, and can resist strong acid and alkali corrosion. They have a high thermal conductivity of 120-200 W/(m·K), a low coefficient of thermal expansion, and excellent thermal shock resistance, allowing for long-term use at temperatures above 1600°C. They also exhibit good semiconductor properties and chemical inertness. They are widely used in high-tech fields such as abrasives, bulletproof armor, aerospace thermal structural components, semiconductor devices, power modules for new energy vehicles, and the nuclear industry.
